1910 S. Harper Myers founded Myers Funeral Home. In 1936 he was joined by two of his sons, Martin L. Myers and Charles L. Myers. Martin would stay in Mechanicsburg with his father while brother Charles would open a home in Camp Hill. In 1958 the third generation, Boyd L. Myers, would join his father and grandfather.

The firm was purchased by Martin in the early 1960's and when he retired in 1977 was purchased again by Boyd, the present owner. He was joined in 1980 by Boyd L. Myers, Jr., who is currently the supervisor.

Myers Funeral Home has been serving Mechanisburg and the entire surrounding communities for ninety years and four generations.
